Crochet sneakers are a thing and they’re having a moment. Fuggit is a footwear company that takes your favorite sneakers and transforms them into slippers. Rich Riley, the man with a plan, creates custom handmade slippers designed after the most popular sneakers on the market--everything from Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runners to Sean Wootherspoon’s rainbow Nikes.
Fuggit’s Instagram has become a must-follow for all sneakerheads looking for something unique and comfortable. Each slipper is lined on the inside with a sherpa layer. The company is also a nonprofit organization. For every sale, the company donates to families affected by sneaker violence, which is described as, “material violence due to people who have been killed for their sneakers.”
Riley said, “Fuggit creates parody art footwear to spark the conversation of sneaker violence within the fashion community.”
Fuggit makes all your favorite sneakers into slippers, from Vans Sk8-His and even the most exclusive sneakers. They even expanded their sizing and launched a children’s line called SnkrBaby.
