The Avengers stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson just proved why they should be real-life superheroes and not just on the big screen.
Johansson and Evans, better known as Black Widow and Captain American, took a USO tour to meet troops from Afghanistan, Turkey, and Qatar at the Bagram Airfield. Evans and Johansson felt meeting the troops on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor would be meaningful, and they were right.
The two actors held a 20-minute Q&A for the servicemen and servicewomen where Scarlett expressed how incredible and touching her experience had been meeting with all of them. Evans felt the same and posted a touching photo of him with the soldiers to his Instagram. He wrote, "ENDLESS thanks to all the soldiers...Your sacrifice is heroism defined."
Along with heartfelt encounters, there were funny moments too. "If one more soldier tells me how small I look," Evans joked. "I haven't started working out; This is the walking around weight."
