This Breakfast Margarita Is The Sweet Start Your Morning Needs

Forget mimosas and Bloody Mary's! A tangy margarita with a hint of orange is part of a complete breakfast.

Don't be shy, girlfriend. Pour up the tequila, squeeze a lime, and get the party (aka your morning) started with this "Breakfast Margarita" recipe!

What You'll Need:

  • 1.5 oz. Tequila
  • .05 oz. Cointreau
  • .05 oz Agave syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. Orange marmalade
  • Juice from 1/2 a lime

How you make it:

  1. Cut your lime in half and squeeze 1/2 into a shaker cup or red solo cup. Add the tequila, Cointreau (or Triple Sec), agave, and marmalade to your shaker/solo cup.
  2. Pop the top on your shaker cup, or use another solo cup to create a top. Shake well for about 30 seconds.
  3. Strain your mix over a cup of ice, use the lime wedge to rim your glass and garnish with an orange peel.
